I found this very poor copy that was most impossible to read until I went to the library and was able to read it on the reader. I have made this transcript and attached it to the original to benefit our getting the important messages that will prove the correct spelling of Elmina and also give us the names of his wives and their marriages.

ISAAC BUHUNNIN or ISAAC BEHUNIN

Isaac Behunin who was the son of Albert Behunin was born on the 20th of October 1803 in the township of Richland, County of Oswego, state of New York and was married to Maribah Morton, daughter of Isaac and Nancy Morton in the year of 1826. He moved with his family to the township of Williston, county of Chittenton State of Vermont. In the spring of 1829 he removed withe his family back to Richland, county of Oswego, New York and here, on the first day of January 1833 he was baptised into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by Zera Pulcipher and in June following he removed to Kirtland Ohio where his wife Maribah died on the 6th day of July 1834 and in the fall following he was married to Elmina Tyler, daughter of Andrus and Elizabeth Tyler.
In the spring of 1835 he removed to Erie Pennsylvania where he resided until September 1836. He removed to Marion County, Ohio. Here he was ordained a Priest under the hands of Elder Lewis D. Wilson. In the spring of183?(June) he removed with his family to Randolph County, Town of Huntsville,Missouri. From there he removed to Davies county in June 1838. He was here during all the difficulties which infected this county. That Fall he removed to Caldwell County with the brethren who were driven out of Davies County and settled near Far West, where he remained until the last of Janurary 1838 when he was compelled to leave the State under the extermination order of Goysner Boggs', Together with the rest of his brethren and settled in Hancock County Illinois. In October following he removed to Commerce, now Nauvoo.

He was ordained an Elder under the hands of Elders William Smith, one of the Twelve and Alpheus Gifford at the General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints held in Nauvoo on the 6th Day of April 1840. In june following he in company with several other Elders took a short mission to preach the Gospel into the territory of Iowa and baptised eleven persons.

In May 1844 he was ordained an Elder in the Quorum of the Seventies under the direction of Joseph Young, President of the quorum of theSeventies, at the General Conference in Nauvoo on the 8th of October 1844 and was attached to the eleventh Quorum at the Organization of said Quorum and was ordained a High Priest on the-----day of-----under the direction of George Miller President of the High Priests Quorum.
